Default i think my iac is maxed out, tb screw all the way in, now what??

so my iac is at 315, dont know if i can set it higher, i havent found anything and noone replied in my post. can i set it higher or no?

it idle i have a deviation as the iac increases above 225 iac steps. at idle i have about 45 iac position. my screw is in all the way and hasnt even tripped the tps to one yet. do i need a bigger screw for the tb stop or what? what can i do so my car runs better on cold start when its seeming it is starving for air?

if your iac is maxed out drill a hole in the throttle body to get more air

You have to or crack the TB blade open. It really isn't a big deal.

this is exactly what i am asking, my screw in the tb is pretty small and i was wondering about getting another screw for it to open the tb until i see the tps increase some. i might just invert the screw and see how that does

Since I have a ported TB, my screw is on the other side. I can easily get it to read 1%+ out of the TPS.

well mine wont read anything at idle still, but i flipped the screw over, im seeing .71 v at idle on the tps. when i turn the key on i hear the throttle open and shut?? i have traction control so i guess the computer thinks its hung or something?

anyway i did this and on start up the car ran shitty and then got better. the iac was still maxed out, now the problem is that as the idle slows down the iac closes too much i think lol it got down to 20 before it was all the way warm. do i maybe just have too much set airflow at cold start?

im not really sure about what to do here

What are you idling at when its running rough, and then when it smooths out?

I would try flipping the screw around or getting a longer one. I am wondering how much the vette's TB blades are open when they are idling. It might be interesting to relate it to your setup. Any vette guys know?

well i flipped the screw over and then it still messed up on the cold start and at idle the iac count went damn near close to zero, it wasnt warmed up yet and it was on its way down below 15. maybe i have too much air demanded at cold start?
