mustang wants to bet $500
I am curious to see what everybody's vote is. I think that I should be able to beat the stang. I have 435 rwhp. The guy's car is a gt with a charger and a 75 shot of spray. That is all that I know and that it is also a automatic. Should I bet the 500???

I wouldnt get too cocky. He could be putting down quite a bit of power with a blower and n2o. I'd also be willing bet that a super charged juiced mustang is also going to have a suspension under neath it... Should be a good race but we dont know enough about the two cars to predict a win.

The nitrous is there to cool the combustion temps and most guys use it if they have higher compression engines with boost to drop the temps alot. This allows them to run more boost without detonation. IMO, race for no $$$.

I'd say stear clear of that race.
I think it's safe to assume that he's running a fully built motor since it's blown and he's spraying it. A stock 2V GT would twist the rods like a pretzel with that kind of power. If that is the case, he could be running 20psi on racegas. Who knows. Keep in mind that he's got the 8.8 solid axle too. They get out of the hole really well on slicks...especially with all that torque from spraying through the blower.
Your 435rwhp car is probably pretty damned quick, but unless you find out some specifics on that car I'd pass on this one.
