Well about 20 minutes from Cedar Rapids is Iowa City, where the University of Iowa is. That is a fun town. It might be a lil more dead cause its not in the school year, but the downtown area there and all the bars are fun as hell. Other than that, Iowa has nothing.

Hey- we have corn and casinos...Oh, yeah, Iowa does suck.

I drive past Adventureland everyday, and went there a lot as a kid- it sucks, but they do have some new rides.

adventureland is sadly overated, its an alright time but not that fun. Since University of Iowa is out right now there wont be as much acticity in Iowa City, but I would say thats your best bet for some fun.
