Default will a leaking slave cylinder cause double clutching to shift?

I know a leaking slave cylinder will cause an *** load of problems shifting when fluid is low, but will it cause the car to stay locked in gear and double clutching to shift from one gear to another at random times.

for ex: sometimes I have to double clutch to shift out of first, in the neautral gate but before shifting into second I have to double clutch again. This doesnt happen all the time just random.

I know my slave cylinder is leaking fluid, so in about 3 weeks I will be replacing the slave, bell housing and clutch. I just wondering if the symptom describe above could now be a synchro issue. Which would suck since I have a clutch issue that is going to cost about $1300.00 in parts.

2001 z28 m6, 75.xxx miles.

thanks everyone!

Yes, and if you don't fix it you'll be rebuilding the tranny also.
