well..im going to be putting on my stage II patriots with my new cam as soon as they get here and i had some questions..in the past when i rebuilt my heads i tried to use the cometic mls gaskets..I have a 98 car and im guessing the gaskets didnt like the 98 style heads so they leaked and i didnt even get it out of the garage..SOooo what do you guys recommend? Are the perimiter bolt patriots just as successable to leakage like the 98 heads are since they are still the perimiter bolts? i am going with the stage II's (unmilled),tsp 231/231,nitrous.. stock shortblock any suggestions..right now i just got the oreilly felpro specials on..nothing fancey they were like 15 bucks..they work good but im thinking just new gm gaskets...any advice..i dont want to run the cometics..too much trouble..obtw i installed arp head studs last go around... i will also be ugrading to a ls6 intake this time and going with true duals,,also going to put a ls2 chain in.thanks matt
