Default rpm redline

I have the stock rev limiter setting. I just installed a tr 231 237 589 598 112. should I raise the limiter up some or not.

yes. you'll be peaking after the stock limiter with that cam.

Well guesing you replaced the stock springs and lifters I would raise the rev limiter up, that cam should be making good horsepower well within the 6600 -6800 rpm range.

get the car on a dyno, see where the power starts to fall off and set rev limiter & shift points accordingly.

You want to time it such that you complete the quarter mile in relation to hp peak.
