Default Tranny fluid...

Alright, I'm doin my clutch install what not, its all practically done, but I got to the point where i need to put new tranny fluid in, so I heard from someone(fbody guy), to put synchromesh in, but the tranny itself, the manual, and the guide(installuniversity) all say dex 3 atf, so my question is, is it alright to do synchromesh or do i need dex 3?

I've heard of some people using syncromesh. If you're in doubt just use dex III. I just put some fresh fluid in mine today.

I special ordered some Royal Purple Synchromax. I've heard bad things about their Max ATF in the T56, but good things about their synchromax. Just thought i'd give my $.02.
