Hot Rod Power Tour/ Pump Gas Drags/ Drag Week - for those on tour now, roughly how many cars are there?

just kinda curious how many cars are at the events?

also how many cars are there in the "groups" that drive together?

for those that have done it before, does it get bigger, smaller, or about the same toward the end

I was at Miller Park in Milwaukee for the first stop and I would say there were rougly 1,500 cars there. It was pretty cool

I talked to a friend who was there for the kick off and he said there was 2200 cars preregistered and another 900 registered there. I was in Springfield IL yesterday and the cars rolled in from 2 and when i left alittle after 5 there was still a HUGE line. From what have seen in the past it gets bigger the farther it goes.

I was at Indy yesterday from 1 till 6 and the cars just kept rolling in. Here are a couple pics of the long haulers parking area. This was about 3 in the afternoon so cars where still pouring in. Plus there was a shit load more cars parked in other areas.

I was on legs 1, 2, and 3, and I think the number leaving Springfield was like 4400, with a bunch expected to Join in Indy...it was huge, and loads of fun!

i was there today. there are a LOT of cars. lots of SWEET cars. Zangel was having issues with melting sparkplug wires and bad steering issues. ill get pics up later

I am on the long haul....I didn't stay long at INDY though because we were having issues with the 57 so we left and went home in Bowling Green, worked on the car last night and today and now I'm in Nashville.... We usually leave a couple hours earlier than what the tour is supposed to leave because of traffic and overheating issues...

I know that when we had Lunch at JC Whitney on Sunday they said they served over 4000 Hot dogs... But with each registered car if you had a co driver that included them too...

There are a lot of cars. I finally caught up with some of the Texas guys and girls just last night. Everyone is walking around and its kinda hard to find someone at their cars. Yes, thats a giant Denso plug. I have a bunch of pics but will post them this weekend. See everyone in Tally & Kissimmee.
