Today's my 29th birthday, and my wife got me a GREAT gift:

One gift certificate to take the Proformance Driving School at Pacific Raceways, on a date of my choosing! :drive:

Now all I have to do is pick a date... and buy some new tires. :devil:

I am talking to them now about giving Military discounts for those in the military. & maybe seeing how much it would cost to get a group of 20 or so people out there.

She knew I really wanted to go, but also that I was kinda strapped for cash in my car fund so I didn't know if I'd be able to do it this summer. I totally had no idea that she would give me this kind of gift... I was kind of in shock, because I'm thinking "Damn, you really do love me!!! You were actually listening when I was talking about a car thing!" :lol:

Bill and anyone else who wants to go same day I do... I'm either going to go July 5th, or August 1st. All depends on when I can pony up for a new set of tires... gonna cost me $700 at least, and that might take a month or so for me to save. :)

Tires is the one thing I really need too... and I need a complete set. I also would like to get the Strano 35mm front sway bar before going out there as well. Because of that, August 1st looks like the most likely day I'll be able to go... you think that you might have tires and a cage by then? If that day works better for you than an earlier date, that works for me.

I'd be a blast to have you, me, Bill and anyone else who wants to go out there on the same day. :D
