DOUBT IT

Hey guys. I wish I were out there with you. :( I hafta work though.
Just a few heads up...
Alabama State Troopers are running unmarked cars, and silver Crown Vics with no light bars. All AL Troopers are running instant-on and in-car radar. On the stretch of I-65 that you'll be on, be careful, and keep down to only 10 above. This goes for the short stretch of I-85 that you'll be on too.
The Montgomery Police Dept knows that the Power Tour is coming through, and is supposedly targeting Power Tour Participants. They have the typical black-and-white cars. 80% are using instant-on and in-car.
On a side note, the Official Power Tour Directions have you getting on the Eastern Boulevard off of I-85. Don't take that exit, go down one more to the TAYLOR ROAD exit, and take a right. Follow it all the way to US 231 and take a left. This will allow you to bypass a lot of lights and traffic.
Keep it to only 10 over 'til you get through Troy, Alabama, then it should be smooth sailing 'til you get to Dothan.
If anyone stops to get gas or snacks at the Chevron one mile down from where you first turn on to HWY 231, you ought to drop by the shop next door and say hi. It's the big blue building that says "TRUCK OUTFITTERS". I own the Sebring Silver Z-28. :) At least honk when you go by. I'll be watching and listening.
Have fun and be safe when coming through Alabama.
