Default Thunder Racing 408

Hung around Thunder this this afternoon while they were putting my new 408 in. The were able to start it up. Its nice to have that **** eatin grin on my face again. This thing sounds nasty. Will be posting dyno numbers next week after Geoff is finish tuning.

408 stroker
6.0l block
AFR 225 Heads
Diamond pistons
Manley Rods
Eagle Crank
Ported FAST intake Nick Williams TB
QTP 1 7/8 Headers w/high velosity collectors.


Can't wait to drive this thing.

yes, it did sound good, jason and i were in the engine room takin apart a motor when yall fired it up, we didnt know wtf was going on, thought everyone had left till the ground started rumbling in the shop.

gotta love open headers

What cam did they spec for you? 248/254?

Yes that was the size of the cam. Shane got the car off the lift and broke in the gears and the brakes this afternoon. Tomm its going get an allignment with that new K-member, then Goeff can start tuning it. Should have some dyno numbers for you guys by the end of the week...
