Default 9" fill plug hitting gas tank

I have the moser housing and strange CS and my fluid fill plug is rubbing on my gas tank, it is starting to scratch material away. I have the 99 plastic tank, and I am pretty sure it is the tank, not a gaurd but Im not totally sure. BTW I have the eibach pro kit springs

Anybody have a similar issue, I might grind down the top of the plug a little but thats the only thing to grip and screw it in/out with.

I was thinking about using a torch to heat the tank plastic a little and bend it in some to clear the plug. Ha I am just joking with you, Im not going to try that, so write any other ideas you might have

where are you talking about? my housing just has the smaller bolt on the very bottom to drain, and then a breather hole with nipple screwed in on the axle tube. (and the big fill plug on the back/top)

He's talking about the big fill plug in the back up high. I lo oked at mine and I can't see how it's hitting the gas tank.
