Default Sig requirements

What are the rules in sig's? I know the dimensions cant be more than 500x150 but what other rules are there?

generally its no more than 8 lines, including images. 150 pixels is about 5-6 lines itself(thats the max height of sig pics). so....yea. my sig was @ 7 lines or so, thats why i shrank the text down.

sigs that are too big get "Corvette-forumish" according to Brains, lol.

What about animated sigs. Like you have a pic of your car and your username is animated in the pic?

Because animations have much larger file sizes, so that slows down page loading a lot. Also, animated avatars are much smaller, so the animations are less distracting than a page full of animated sigs would be.

(The limit is 8 lines of text plus the image, fyi.)

Height of line depends on text size... height of image isn't always going to be 150px... get way too convoluted to try to have a restriction like that
