I am about to run a 150 wet shot on my car and was wondering if the NGKTR6 is the best plug for that apllication. Also was is everyone gapping their plugs to. I was going to go for .038-.040 Any feedback from anyone is appreiated. Thanks Jason

Witha 150 shot I would run .035, imo. Bigger may blow out, but some do the .036/.038 on this size shot.

Thanks for your reply. I am going to be putting the plugs in this week and hopefully it works out...The stock plugs were around .056 and was causing all hell...Ill let everyone know how it runs. Thanks Jason

when running a bigger shot would you open the plugs a bit or close them up more? say 200 wet?

The problem is spark blowing out, so the bigger the shot the tighter the gap.

Is there a tool I can pick up to measure the gap? I would like to check my gaps before I put my TR6s in.

Yeah i just call it a gap tool they them in in different qualities. You can spend $.99 on one or $20.00 on one they should have them pretty much anywhere taht sells tools.

i use champion RC9YC gapped at .035" on my 200 shot and 175 shot in both cars.

I'm currently running NGK TR6ix's gapped @ .035"... do you guys think it would still be fine for smaller shots say 75-125? I've been running them N/A in my car for a couple of months now but will be spraying soon finally. I plan on pulling them this weekend to make sure they still look alright.

same here, no problems and very satisfied with it.

Same plug here with a much better idle than my TR6 plugs. Don't get me wrong I always used the TR6 plug and never had a problem just wanted to try something new and so far so good. I only spray a 100 but will be stepping up to a 150.

I got a set from a buddy at the parts place for free. He wanted me to try them out because of his results with them.
I figured I would give them a shot and if not back to the TR6 plugs for me.
