Rumor has it that it will start the first weekend in June 2006 at Kissimmee Fl (Old Town).

Possible stops:
Savannah, GA
Charlotte, NC
Richmond, VA
Harrisburg, PA
Ocean City, MD
Hartford, CT
Portland, ME

Can anyone confirm this?

Well, from Nashville to Birmingham would have only been 3 hours driving time going interstate.... But going 231 like we did it took all freakin day... maybe they plan to take back roads to Gainsville... I don't know, just a thought.

I know of no back roads to Gainsville...Turnpike to 75. 100 miles away tops. Thats the route guys. You do have to go maybe 15 miles off of 75 if I am remembering right.

The reason to go to Gainsville is for the track. 2 track stops in 06! It's a nice track.

That would be cool. Harrisburg doesnt have anything cool, Carlisle is near by there however. Englishtown is lame but real close to NY. Wouldnt Commerce Ga (Year One) make sense?

Yeah Englistown is a large track but the area isnt very good for PT IMO. The traffic and hotels arent great. Pennsylania would be nice if they did Maple grove or Carlisle.

Downtown Orlando the Friday night for sure. Like someone said. The milage usually works out about the same for most long haulers. I drove 1400 miles to the start and 40 miles home.

Yeah, but everyone W of the mississippi will have a long haul just to do the long haul. Good for the east coast crew since it hasn't been there in a while.

At least I can try to make a few of the stop if I can't get enough time off to long haul again.
