Default !Side body molding

decided to take some time while at work and rip off those gay *** side moldings on my Firebird. Besides a few blisters from rubbing off the glue and some cleaner wax, what a difference. Car looks much smoother and much cleaner. Anyone contemplating this appearance mod should definitely do it! I will try and get some pics some time this weekend.

Those things are pointless. The doors stick out so much on the top that if anyone is gonna hit your car door with theirs it's gonna hit the top of the door before it hit the moldings.

So anyone thinking about doing it, but you're worried about that ^ don't hesitate because it's the truth.

I took mine off and it looks great.

NOT TRUE ON CAMAROS.

I did mine and it looks so much cleaner without it.

No sir... if you are worried about that use a heat gun of some sort to heat up the glue to make the job easier. All I did was just begin to rip away.

yeah the top of the door is just as far out as the side.. the moldings are way too low to do anything... plus as if the car isnt low enough to the ground anyway... most doors are gonna come up to the high spot on your door.
