Default JVC TV Problems

Hey I Don't know if this is the right forum but I have a 37inch JVC I'art TV and the other day it just went blank and shut off. And now it wont work. You can turn it on and it turns on like it should and sound comes on but right as the picture starts to come it shuts off and the red power light on front blinks. Anybody have any ideas. The TV is only like 2 years old and i dont feel like spending a lot of money to fix it so any help would be great. Thanx Ben

Sounds like a tube issue. most likley the power supply to the tube, probably popped a transistor. My Sony did about the same. Its probably fixable if you can find a source for parts. Alot of repair shops will give an evaluation estimate for free. be worth the trip. Either have them fix it or have them tell you whats wrong and do it yourself.
