Question on springs?
I work at a junk yard and i have a set of stock ls1 heads with springs. The motor had a cam in it but im not sure what cam was in it. my buddy got the short block. but the qustion i had was the springs had a green paint on them what springs are these? Thanx

Do you have any idea how many miles are on the springs?
For the price, you might be better off buying a new set and ensuring better
performance.
If you plan to use them anyway, them tested for pressure at the install height
and open pressure you need.

i think the green paint means that they are ls6 cam. My budy a while back i help him put in a ls6 cam and spring and i think i remember at green stripe pained on it, but i might be wrong this was almost 2 years ago so if im not right or i am please post. hope i helped

Green on the springs? GM springs were natural, blue or yellow. I know of none that came with green.
They must be aftermarket, I don't know who used green on their springs though.
