can anyone tell me how to fix my problem on my 01 Z? when i floor it the pass n gear doesnt work.

What us old timers used to call passing gear. Just the tranny downshifting when you floor it.

Need more info on what rear end gears the car has and what speed you are going when you are flooring it. There are tables in the pcm that control when it will command a downshift based on mph.

I usually assmume they mean 2nd gear. As to whats going on I need a better discreption. does it hit the revlimiter, not downshift ect?

it does not hit the rev limiter, i installed a hypertech programmer to rev at 5900 n it only gives me 5500rpm. lets say im at a 30mph roll, i floor it n it down shift to 3rd instead of 2nd. will doin an ls1 edit help it?

Hypertechs will only let you change upshift points, not downshift points. You will need tuning software to change those.

plus you might not want to use as much "slang" in your posts so that its a little more clear in what you are saying, had to read some thigns 2 times to get what you were saying lol

hmm at 30mph you probably mean it won't downshift to first. 2nd tops out up to 90 depending on your gear ratio. on a 3.23 car it'll usually downshift to 2nd up to 68mph.
