Default Z06 Clutch without New Flywheel?

I've noticed the LUK Z06 clutch on Ebay without the flywheel. Can I just have my Flywheel ground and use this kit? Will I need a shim? Has anyone done this?

I haven't bought it, but it's listed at $199 on Ebay. I resurfaced my flywheel on my 94Z28 and it worked fine. Anybody do this?

as long as your flywheel don't have grove, just get you cleaning disc and go over good. but here is deal, if you going to pull tranny out to replace clutch, might as well replace whole thing. unless you really can't afford that extra $100-$150

That is a very good point! I have done a clutch on a 94 and it took me a while to do it all by myself. Plus at my age, laying under a car gets old quick!
