Default complete set up questions

ok well here i found a good affordable wet kit. here is what is included in the kit. Its a cold fusion kit(any opinions)for my LT1

1 x 10lb Nitrous Oxide Bottle In blue
1 Pair Bottle brackets
1 Nitrous Oxide Solenoid capable of 200hp gains
1 Fuel Solenoid capable of 200hp gains
8 jets for a wide range of HP settings
1 12 inch Blue stainless steel braided hose
1 12inch Red stainless steel braided hose
1 15 foot stainless steel braided hose (for bottle to solenoid)
1 Pro Fogger Nozzle
1 nozzle hold fitting
1 4an Bottle Nut
1 wide open throttle switch (used to activate the system when at full acceleration)
1 20 inch stainless steel braided hose (from Schrader valve to fuel solenoid)
1 fuel line adapter fitting
1 nitrous oxide pressure gauge to go on your bottle
1 dual solenoid mounting bracket
1 pack of screws for mounting
1 solenoid fitting to attach your fogger
2 blue solenoid fittings to attach your bottle to solenoid and your solenoid to fogger
1 12 volt 40 amp relay with plug in harness
1 arming switch
15 ft of 12 gauge wire

all that is included in the kit, my question is what else do i need to make the kit safe? Purge, Blowdown tube, window switch, some kind of timing retard? and what do each of these do to help?
thanks

Sounds like a real good kit!

I would look at a bottle heater (keeps the nitrous pressure between 925 - 1050, which is the optimum pressure, a purge (used to release trapped air or gaseous nitrous from the main line), and window switch (used to activate the nitrous between a pre determined RPM range).

My other suggestion would be a fuel pressure safety switch. It will shut your nitrous kit off if the fuel pressure drops below a pre set PSI. Don't forget a set of colder plugs too, NGK TR-6s work good. If you have any other questions give me a shout!

We're running this one until the 22nd of June. Look in the Sponsor Specials & Group Purchases in a little while, I'll have a post with our other items on sale. Thanks again!

Just to make sure we are talking about the same kit, it is SKU: HSW-XX2 correct? If yes, then you need 4 an stuff.

Nope, no window switches. We have a nifty little unit that will work as one and do a few other cool things, but it's still in the works. Sorry.
