Default 5177 Kit Questions

So i bought a kit off ebay- sorry dave, couldn't pass up the price. anyway when i got it, it has two different feed lines to the Air box. The one that looks like came with the kit, has a 90 deg. bend on the outlet side. the other is just a straight line. The question is that there is an insert in the 90 line. It looks like it may restrict the flow more than the other one. or will it matter since there is the same jet on the outlet?
Also for hiding purposes would it be possible to run a single line with a larger jet? If so what jet for a single nozzle about 100HP shot. ?
Thanks in advance guys-

Single nozzle :
100hp = 0.47
125hp = 0.55
150hp = 0.63
