Well I'm doing a dual intank pump set up, just saw that socketless hose made by russel, aeroquip, and earls...they all have their own brand but looks to be the same stuff. Has anyone used this here on the board. It looks nice and simple to use and easy to install...although doing my braided lines up front wasn't too hard, it was time consuming.

Any NHRA rules about using more than a couple feet of this stuff? I'm thinking doing -8an from the tank to the rail and -6an from the rail to the tank in this stuff.
Thanks all:D

Not sure of the terminology used ??

By socketless, do you mean their push fit hose that doesnt require hose clamps of any sort ? rated at 250psi

If so, Ive used it on most of my fuel system. Its by no means easy to get onto the barbs, but it is pretty neat looking. Defo use oil when pushing the hose on.

-6 hose and fittings from Fuel distribution block, to the rails, then Tee-ing and returning to the regulator.

I used the earls push fit stuff.

You can see it at the front of the rails. It feeds into rails at the rear.

I used i heat gun to warm the end of the hose. slides right onto the barb with some lube as well.

Reminds me...think I did the same.

I locked a male fitting into a vice to hold it, then screwed the barb fitting onto it. Then heated the hose, oiled the barb and hose inside, and pushed it on. Make sure ya get it first go. Once it stops movin, it stops movin, on or off.

J:DFIND You a local hose supply company...Thats where I gotmine. I paid 50 bucks for the stuff to do my whole car.

That included 10 ft of -10an, 16 ft of -6 and 5 ft of -8.

haa ha! Just what I did. Action hose here in ALB has the stuff for CHEAP!
But alas my wallet has taken a pounding here lately. So it'll have to wait until it gets up to "mod" capacity again:lol:

Glad I have a V6 firebird to run around in now:burn:
