Pontiac Firebird 1967-2002 - What do you think of this 69 Bird?

What do you think of this 69 Bird? I built it, but something about it jsut isn't "right".

I personally dont like the rims. Look like something from Rent-A-Tire. Some 17" Torque Thrust 2's would probably make a big difference.

I'd have to say the Stinger hood makes it not look "right"...its a clean really nice looking job you did...but I think "Corvette" when I see that hood. Twin ram air induction on the hood would probably be better suited maybe, especially since you have a rear spoiler on the Bird too...but then again, thats not a Trans Am spoiler either...and I have a feeling you weren't trying to make a clone. I think the car looks great as it is though.

I agree with the wheels, need something with more flash to offset the 2-tone paint job. And paint the front radiator core area (unless it was dusty in the picture). I'd personally paint the grille sections black as well, but just my opinions, and you know what people think of opinions :lol:

Actually, since that pic was taken I have painted the core support and air baffles. It had a little primer overspray in it.
