at least 1,000 to as much as 2,000 depending on grade of parts used. A stock rebuild can cost you as much as a performance rebuild depending on the different shops you visit. Look around.

Heres the thing, im looking to sell my car so i want something good but kinda cheap because I will be losing money from the rebuild. Im thinking if any one was interested I'd sell it with broken trans and make more then fixing then selling. 6800 and id sell it whereas a rebuild will cost 1300 and my car isnt worth more then 8k..

I just paid $1500 for a performance rebuild 2 weeks ago! After getting on here asking around, and knowing the guys who built it do great work, I was happy. They said a regular rebuild would cost $1200-1300
