Do I need new spring shims with crane duals?

Went up to barnett, picked them up and installed them. I ended up getting everything from barnett and when you order via the part #s from crane. The valve seats or retainers don't come with the springs. Car idled fine for the 15 mins or so that I let it run. Going for a drive today.
