I posted this question over on LS1GTO.com and wondered if anyone here and any input or advice. I have been reading these boards for about 1.5 weeks now and it seems like the only mod for the 05's is a CAI. Does anyone have any idea when any companies are going to release more mods for the 05's. The list of mods I figured I would do are a mild cam, headers, intake manifold, TB, CAI, 373 gears, tune and a few suspension mods. Out of that list is anything other than the CAI available. Thanks.

The gears would be the same 04 or 05, as well as the suspension stuff, so that is available most everywhere. There are a couple of companies that state that the headers for the 04 will bolt right up to the 05 as well, I haven't personally checked them out though to be sure.
Why do you want to change out the TB? the LS2 setup is already 90mm.
As far as a tuner goes, I agree with 05Goat, should see something in the next few months.

burbman, thanks for the info. I wasn't aware that it came with a 90mm TB already.

a few sites, have 05 designed headers along with an 05 cat back. Theres not to many bolt ons at this time, but i would give it about 2 months. Once the LS2 Edit, HPTuners and so are are 100% than you will see the mods roll in. Keep it stock for 2 months save up some money and go crazy :)
Also you can buy heads/cam for your 05 as well.

i wuld think that the headers for the ls1 wuld fit directly to the ls2 egine based upon that the 2 engines are exactly tha same external dimentions just like the ls7. there are of course computer tunings to be made done. and of course porting and polishing does not need any special parts

The LS1 GTO header bolts to the block but does not bolt to the exhaust.
