Default Motor Pull

Hey im pulling my motor out of my 98 Z. if i shave my heads just a little does anything have to be changed im on a tight budget (baby on the way) I had to take the motor out to fix something and i hated putting it back without making it worth it. Im open to all opinions..

And do the electric water pumps help or hurt?

If you mean just shaving stock heads, I guess you could do it, but I don't think it would be worth much power. You may need shorter pushrods to get lifter preload right. Depending on the cam you're running it's a good idea to check P-V clearence also.
EWP's are not worth the money on a street car in my opinion.
