help please , SPEC stage 3 came without shim , do i need one ?

Default help please , SPEC stage 3 came without shim , do i need one ?

Need help urgent plaese , i got my SPEC stage 3 clutch today it came without the shim , do i need one ?
i dont know if they forgot to to put it in the box , i remmeber i order one last year it was with a shim , is the new ones are improved that you dont need to install a shim ?
if i need one what is the size ?
I already pulled the transmission , and confused now what to do ?

some people use them and some people don't. I didn't use one and mine is fine. depends on your slave and master I guess

are you using a re-surfaced flywheel or a new one.

I put a stage 3 and billet steel F/W in last year and did'nt use one, it was fine. But I just put a oz700 in with resurfaced F/W and I used a 1/8" or so shim in and it's fine. So take you pick. You'll be fine with out it I bet.
