Anything over 42# injectors is good. I got 60# because I have some big plans for the future, if I can get the kinks worked out.

42 # injectors and a Racetronix pump setup worked fine on my ATI D-1SC setup at 10 #'s of boost.

For the TT setup I am switching to 60 # injectors.

Any Time you swap injectors you will need to have the program changed to run them properly. They will fit exactly as your current injectors fit. You just remove the old one and pop in the new ones. They are a direct swap! AS for the diff > Larger injectors will support more power and flow more fuel! Someone correct me if I am wrong. Let me know if you have other questions? Thanks, Ark

Not to kill anybody's sale but the Delphi Multec 1 (MSD/Holley) 50's are not a good choice when using the factory LS1 PCM. They do not get along together and for most people are next to impossible to tune. We never recommend the Delphi 50 for LS1 PCM use. The 42's are the largest hi-z injector Delphi makes that is compatible with the LS1 PCM. The next step up from 42's would be Siemens 3172's or L107's.

The msd 50lb injectors are not that hard, although compared to most injector not that fun. It just takes some tweaks to the injector timing tables since they take twice as long to open as stock injector. Plus the flow rate increase is not linear with pressure increase above 43 psi. It just took me a little digging on the LT1 boards to get the injector timing constants (basically the same as 42 lb lightening injectors). But basically if you have choice go with something else since they are expensive and will take a few a hours to get dialed in (street tuning).

That is good news as most people are never able to get a reasonable level of drivability with the 50's. Perhaps you would not mind posting your tables on this forum so that other LS1 owners can benefit from your knowledge? This would open the door to other less experienced tuners allowing them to consider the 50's as an intermediate step between the 42's and the 57's/60's.

Motron 60's are working great for me.
Still getting 19/20mph in commute traffic and high 20's on the freeway.
42's should work great for 9psi on a stock motor but if you think you will ever itch for more power your going to be buying twice cause your going to have to step up in size.

Do you have a fuel pressure regulator or are you still using the factory in bucket regulator. Only asking because I'm at 8.5 psi and fuel pressure drops like a rock. I'm also using a MSD boost a pump and a racetronics hot wire kit with no luck to mention..

A 2005 thread/post. Wow, time passes quickly!

We now offer 48lb/hr disc injectors which are the same as the popular 42's with increased flow:
