Default Mounting PCM? Does it need grounding?

I have mounted my PCM inside my glovebox, but was going thru a thread and someone mentioned the PCM needs to be grounded? I know there are plenty of ground wires on the harness but does the PCM housing need to be grounded to part of the body?

The factory ones have a plastic insulating case around them but I havent seen 1 up close for ages to remember if its grounded directly or off a wire.

No it doesn't need a case ground.

Here's how I mounted mine on the dash in the engine bay using the plastic case that I got with the PCM.
