I was shopping around for diecast model cars when I stumbled upon a HUGE error in detail..If they put that much detail into the car then why would they......................


I dunno.....what's the matter with these people today?? DETAIL PEOPLE!!! IF you're going to make a model of a car, GET IT RIGHT!!! (it's the obvious one I'm talking about)

Ya know what? I have one of those I bought online through eBay last year, & it has the exact same wheels!

thats rediculous...not only the wheels, but the SS emblems are supposed to be red if it is a black car, not silver...

I've looked at one of these in person, and there is something wrong about them, but also something different about this one.
1. I'm pretty sure Welly doesn't put the black car in that package. It's for the 35th SE version.
2. The front wheels were the ones on all 4 of the one I looked at. While these are the wrong ones, I didn't have major issues with it, though I didn't buy it either.

Those wheels are awesome, i was thinking about putting ZR1s on my front and Z06s on the rear...of my real car, lol. WTF is up with that rearview mirror, thats hilarious!

After some more research, that's the SLP optioned bumper that came with the center-mount SLP exhaust. It was optional, but not standard on 02's.

Keep in mind this is basically a $27 18th scale diecast model. Quality isn't going to be high. Only real fubar that I see are the wheels. That's just plain stupid. Side molding? More than likely at that scale and price, they couldn't get a cost effective molding on there that was durable and looked good. Rearview mirror, injection molded one piece with mirrored tape, again not the most precise way to do things, but cost effective. Silver SS emblems, not cost effective to have a different set of emblems for a single car color, even if the only difference is the color (though it's more likely they just never realized the black cars had red emblems. Even if they did though, I doubt it would have been done differently).
