Default Injector Size and IFR

99 C5 with new 30 lb SVO injectors.
My 99 OEM injectors would be 26.2 lb at 4 bar.
It should be safe to assume that the 30 lb SVO are rated at 3 bar.
4/3=1.33 x30 = 39.99 for the 30 lb SVO on a 4 bar system.
So the SVO 30's should be at 39.99 on my C5.
39.99/26.2=152% for Ls1 edit scale factor.
Works for me, but I have read other threads that say the scale factor is multiplied by square root Can anyone explain that theory.

Go to the link in the above sticky and it explains the conversion from 3 bar to 4 bar.

good idea would be to check your actual rail pressure and go from there. i was having inconsistant pressures, looked like a dip to 59 at WOT but idle was 62, the closer you get the ifr table to actual the easier it is to tune IMO, after i did this i could see better trends in the ve table and it helped the tuning for me

Once again you guys save the day, and I learn a new one. This site is the greatest tool.
After this week, new injectors, new windshield, new mufflers (Flowmaster) I'm going to scan, log the wide O2, and tune, then hook up the G-Tech before the next race on the 4th of July. I will take some pictures and collect data from the race.
Thanks again, Racecar.
