Default Help With Vinci Tuner

Hey guys....I need some peoples opinion.

I first set the Fuel Up 5% and the car was great.

I tried @ 10% higher, and the car sounded awesome but i dunno somehow i felt it didn't pull as hard in second gear.

I put it back to 0% and it seems ok but for some reason i keep thinking that 5% was the best.

Can anybody say that this would make sense? Like does a lil bit extra fuel help out any? Thanks

if the car was running too lean then makes sense... the granatelli is most likely leaning you out quite a bit (lean = power, too lean = loss of power, knock, potential boom)

As with anything though, too much fuel also hurts performance... LS1s seem to like 12.8:1 AFR up to 13.0:1 AFR for max power w/tuning.

Not sure what your actual AFR is (would need a wideband for that) but if the 5% setting felt better then leave that in ... hit up a track and try all three of them...

Always better to error on the side of overly rich though IMHO

But yes, what you're saying makes sense... fuel mixture plays a very important role in WOT performance (as does timing)
