Cool Custom painted stripes done - Hugger SS

I had one of our members (Tim Lane) paint on some custom stripes last week, he did an awesome job. I tried applying the decals, but gave up in frustration and decided to have them painted instead. Glad I did, it came out very nice.

So, the car is now DONE appearance-wise. Here is what I have done so far on the externals:

custom painted SLP SS grille
painted door mirrors (were black before)
custom painted hood and trunk stripes
gloss black rear panel to match stripes
97 SS Camaro emblems on front & rear (sides coming soon)
painted headlight mod
window tint
ls1tech decal
Hotchkis lowering springs
import-spec tail lights
center mount exhaust system
Boyd 18" wheels/tires
iRotors drilled/slotted rotors
hugger orange Corvette brake calipers

lol, don't worry about it. He is probably one of those guys I offended by saying Z06, TT2, and SS wheels are "played out". Probably even has a set on his car . I never said I disliked the played out wheels, just that they were way too common. So many other nice wheel choices out there.

GEEZ i was just givin Tony some **** because of what he says about played out wheels wheels all the time. I think that style stripe is the best looking on 4th gens, musch better than two stripes. The first thing i noticed when going through the pics was the details around the spoiler. HO is the best color ever put on any camaro since it came out. The custom painted grill also compliments the center stripe, kinda keeps it goin ya know? Also it looks killer with the black tail panel and the whistler headlights. And yes i am proudly sporting Z06s on my ta and am selling them for some TT IIs. If I wasnt a 20 year old college student paying for school and two LS1 fbodies i would be sittin on some serious Boyds or Fikse. Unless you could throw a set my way big Tony BTW I DIG IT

wait...yeah....ok i just had an idea the last finishing touch. take ur nose emblem off. paint the stripes orange/black/orange instead of red/white/blue. i think it would be slick and super subtle.

nice idea! But, I think the emblem has a clear covering over it? More like a decal, not an emblem.
