Default crappy heads??

I have read a few posts that say that 98 heads dont flow as well, but a few ls1 owners i know say that is just stupid, ls1 heads flow just as well, they are the same heads, just different intakes, and that is why they lack a small amount of flow, can someone please set this straight for me?

Yes 97/98 heads do not flow as well as 01/02. Different casting. But mind you, these are minute differences and porting them would make them shine.

They have the same ports as any other ls1 head. we run our ls1 program through them and have excellent results.

You should sell your car and buy a new one.

01/02 cars have 5 extra hp. Definitely worth the few grand......
