Default Camaro body kit removal?

I'm considering taking my body kit off and lowering it because i hate my wheel gap, well there be anything I'll regret after taking it off? Like paint issues or drill holes etc. (previous owner put it on, I know nothing about this stuff).

If it's aftermarket it's probrably just all held on with double sided tape and some push clips in the wheel wells. If it's factory, it will leave lots of holes behind.

I do like the look, but I want to lower it. And with the body kit I can barely get it on a hydrolic lift as it is, I can't even imagine the hell with it being lowered and with the body kit.

Imagine this.. I have a body kit, lowered with dual exhaust that goes UNDER the axle.... I have yet to scrape the car.. Except for that front AirScoop i haven't scrape anything else..

We all do it all the time.. . simply have patience and take your time when driving up stuff....

You get used to it and it's simple to get around. Drive it up on blocks or have someone lift up on the fender while you put the jack under it. It gets annoying sometimes but that's the price you pay for mods.

I have the wings west kit on my '94 and it's lowered. It's not as bad as some people make it out to be plus the car looks better than anything else on the street then.

I'm lowered atleast 1.75" all the way around (even more in the front now that I'm running skinnies) and the body kit never bottoms out. It does suck getting the car in the air though. To jack up the front I have to use the factory jack, and the only lift I can easily get on is a ramp style using 2 12x12s as ramps. I can get on a 2 post but it kind of iffy and I can't trust anyone else to get it on.

1.25 to 1.5 is a nice drop. That looks really good and your not going to sacrafice to much ground clearance.
