Exclamation 3.42 to 3.73 Gears M6 with Cam

After researching for the past 4 hours in here i really didn`t get my question answered. Most post are for Automatic Transmitions here.

I just upgraded my Cam to a 222/224 114lsa. I trying to figure out if by upgrading my gears to 3.73 i will gain a little low end torque there.
Do not wanna go with the 4.10 so please don`t suggest it. Just give me your opinion on the 3.73 i want to upgrade to.
Will i get a little bit more low end torque going from 3.42 to 3.73 ?

Info on the Car:
Lid, Mac headers, Hi-flows, 125 NOS, Cam 222/224 114, street tires. thats it. The rest are minor bolt ons.

One of my customers cars had a hot cam and all the bolt ons he had 4.10 and would get bad 60fts and installed some motive 3.73s an dhe love them better 60fts and overall all the way down the track. This is with nittos so i'm guessing it was spinning to much off the line and this even come out of his mouth the 4.10 would just spin plus the 4.10s are thinner.Make sure ya got a rear girdle to helps alitte keeps the carrier from shifting so much on a hard launch!

My personal opinion is that it is not a big enough change to be worth the money.

go 4.10's or don't go at all. I should have went bigger, but they were already in the car when I got it. Now it's broken so 4.10's are coming.

Yes, your car will feel like you have more torque down low with the 3.73's, and wil get you into your power range faster. I am happy with my 3.73's and don't want to be shifting all the time like with 4.11's. Even with 3.73's traction could be an issue in 1st and 2nd, and definately will be with 4.11's. 4.11's are pretty fun though, but can eat through tires pretty fast. If you had a 12 bolt I would say to at least do at least 3.90's. But with a 10 bolt 4.11's make me a little nervous. Most people will say 4.11's or bust....or should I say 4.11's and bust.

Thanks man, thats what I wanted to hear. The warranty is fixing the rear end right now, if I upgrade the gears the installation wont cost me nothing and they will warranty the new gears if they are Motive brand. So if they break I get new ones for free.
3.73 it is.
