I'm going to head out to Mt. Vernon on Friday night to see if anybody wants to race or whatever. I'll probably be on my bike since no one wants to race my Rustang. Look for my Blue/White '05 GSXR 1K. Hope to see some people out.

More likely to race a another bike on my stock bike than a car racing my Mustang. I have been 4 or 5 times straight and I got one race with a modded STi. I had several cars on him by the top of 2nd and he was supposed to be one of the faster cars out there. Oh well.

There's more racing in Marysville than here in Mt. Vernon IMO. We do have alot of places here to do it safely, just not as many people that live up here that's all.

NVME88GT I can set you up for a race with another stock '05 GSXR 1000 ? You wouldn't want any of my WS6 in your 'Stang though. It's the fastest car in the world

This sounds like the place sardog was talking about going to.
I might take you up on that offer sometime. I can't find many fast Stangs down here that are willing. The only guy down here that wants to race is a low 11sec turbo 5.0. But I figure why waste his gas. I'm still looking for the orange Stage 3 Rousch that runs around in M'sville. I figure his pride would get him to race me. That should be a fairly close race for me.

W/ my 3.55s and 28" tall tires I SHOULD be game, but I am quite sure my car would lift off into outerspace above 170 mph with the skinny front tires and suspension that it's sporting right now.

Now that would be a problem... I'd take Bill on with that kind of race, except I have a similar problem... mine is 4.11 gears. He'd blow me out of the water after 120mph or so...

Nice looking Mustang. Looks like you have a very nice setup there!!! I'd like to see you race the guy down here at Little Monsters. I doubt my car will give you much of a race (if it's as fast as it looks), but I'll come up some night & give you a try. Tho you must agree to let me fry some rice first before you blow all the paint off my car.
