Drag Racing Tech - What do stone stock A4 cars 60 foot?

I have a timeslip here from a previous owner of my car...his 60' was 2.03. The car was bone stock and it had the stock GSC 16" tires. Oh, 3.23 gears. Does that sound right?

Sounds about right to me. With some sticky tires you can get it into the 1.9-1.8 range. My best on a stock a4 was 1.53

mine bone stock with F1 goodyears was 2.01....had 3.23s...

I got a 1.97 when stock

best of 2.01 when stock, goodyears and 2.73's (old car).

My wife's '00 B4C went 2.04-2.05 consistently while stone stock and on Street Radials (Ventus rain tires at that). It hit 2.03 after I threw the SLP lid on there, but whoopee a lid. :eyes:

Now it has BMR LCA's, poly endlinks on the rear sway bar, and a rear end girdle. Hasn't bested the 2.03 yet, but the weather down here is hot as hell.

i cant get better than 2.2 on my car, i tried stalling it up but i just get worse 60 fts because it turns into a burnout contest. just flooring it works best for me....how are u guys launching it?

On the '00 B4C, I just bring the revs up to about 1000, to bring the converter up "tight" and then stomp it to the floor on the 3rd amber.

Your car has been tuned and is not bone stock.:judge:2.2X stock in D, powerbrake up to 1500 RPM.

Right off the show room floor mine did 1.97 on the Eagle GSC's.

1.88 :D on GSC's, 3.23's ~700 miles on the OD :D

It's all about track prep ;)

Best I got was 1.90 on BFG drag radials.
