Hooker LTs,Offroad Y, and Flowmaster got a friend who is currently runnin Hooker long tubes with an offroad y-pipe through his stock muffler... and he opens the cut-out sometimes on his '02 SS(mostly stock)
and it sounds okay i guess but he has a Flowmaster and i know most people hate them but tell me this...
will his car sound pretty decent with the headers,ory, and a Flowmaster???
i know it wont flow well or gain any power but will it sound pretty good at cruise and half throtttle???
i told him to go Hooker cat back but he has the brand new Fowmaster he had already bought...

my buddy has the same setup on his Z and he has an A4 and I think it sounds ok, but it's still a flowmaster, I am an anti-flowmaster guy, everyone has them, be different man, get the Hooker, will sound a lot better then the blowmaster

my flowmaster catback sounds ok, im not too familiar with other mufflers, but once i do true duals i wanna get some spintechs, i think the ls1 can sound a lot better.

I have a flowmaster with JETHOT LT, ORY. But I freakin hate it the shitmaster came with the car and I haven't changed it but next month I am getting the GMMG. Tell you to go to WWW.LS1SOUNDS.COM and he can check out all the different type's and sound's there is.

well my buddy got his Flowmaster put on along with fixin his exhaust leaks whcih helps out the sound a lot, doesnt have all that noise from underneath the car.
in the end, it sounds okay, a little raspy, but its cool,
just needs a cam to make it sound aggressive
im thinkin of goin the Hooker route with LTs and ORY btu i wanna hear on goin down the road and not just behind it...ls1sounds has some good clips but none in motion...
will Hooker be louder than the Flow???

It sounded a little raspy at times. And for some reason after I installed my cam...70 percent of the rasp went away 
I also have a 6 speed, which gives you the ability to cut down on the rasp. It will rasp a tad around 2-3k when cold. But after its warmed up I get almost no rasp. Unless I slightly lug the car...say If im in 3rd and should be in second and give it more than half throttle.
I think it sounds ok when cruising...and I love it at WOT
Im going with true duals mostly to pick up a few ponies. But just on the way it sounds currently...I would give it a 7 out of 10
