Another NW F-body victory!
Bill Sallia took the win tonight in the CCC race... Bill Springer made it to the semi-finals, and the final race ended up being Bill versus that Cyclone from the Ford club.
As soon as we saw the Cyclone get sideways off the launch we knew Bill had it, and he was on the brakes at the end for the win...
Another great night of racing... I have lots more pics, I will post them as soon as I have them all resized.

Who's blue 2nd gen is that? I just passed that on i5 heading towards seattle while it was on a trailer. There was a 4thgen behind it, anyone?
Nice looking cars. I would've liked to go but I had to work.
In the background of that red firehawk, is that a grand prix with a ricer wing? Yikes...

And yes, that is a Grand Prix with a ricer wing on it.

It was really pretty funny, in the semi's it was Bill and Mike, and another Bill and Mike. One Bill and one Mike lost, so in the finals it was ..... Bill and Mike All in all it was another very good night at the track for Team NW. It was also my first CCC race of the year, so it felt good to help the team with some points. It also felt good to be the only manual tranny car in the semi's More luck than skill on my part, but had a great time getting there.
I also ran a new personal best on the same run that I lost on backing out of it at the end 12.25 on a 12.30 dial. Could've been an "in the teens" run. Oh well next time maybe ?!

Congrats to all!!! Wish I could have stayed. My car seemed to be running good (12.23) & I need the points. Oh well, as Bill said - next time.
And congrats to Doug for running DEEP into the 12s, and to Don B for breaking into the 11s with his new motor. Very cool. Did Jason ever hit the 11s???

Personally for me it does not matter I don't race but once a year. It is making me want to go sooner to the track since everyone is kicking my rear in the quarter mi, lol.
I really do want to have one of the faster cars in the group but you can't do that buy sitting at home worrying about getting the car dirty... I need a shrink!!

Awsome job everyone, Sorry I could not help out in the points standing. But at least I finally got into the 12's. Hopefully With a good tune I can be more consistent with my times.

Most excellent pictures and of course the trophy takers.
Sounds like it was a 'Double Bill' at the track last night!

I managed to rollout somehow and redlight before the ambers started... got waved at to stop, then told to go later...
37.531@104MPH
I got my point for showing, anyway!
Waiting in TnT line for over three rounds (they were running only a few from the street tires line per round) to finally get my second pass for the day, by then it was almost 10pm... Grrrrrr!
PS: 'grats Bill! I'm sad I had to leave a bit early to see that race!

I would have loved to watch Bill race Mike's Cyclone. A pair of beautiful old school muscle cars running low 12s / hi 11s....does it get any better?
