Default Ls2, Ls6, Lsx Manifolds

Anyone have a link to the gains and differences to each. What they all did on the dyno, i remember seeing a link a while back of some people who tryed all the manifolds with a new c6 Ls2 car. The reason i ask, is becuase i want to see if the Ls6 man. out does the new Ls2? or no? i know its 90mm but its a shitty man. if you have the link post it for me thanks!

The LS-6 is better than the LS-2. The LSx is better than the LS-6 on modded cars. LS-2 is just a all out bad design

does the Ls6 bolt right up to the 90mm TB on the LS2? or does any other conversion have to be made? Reason I ask is i might just want to swap out int. man. But the car will be just lightly bolt on car. Not much bolt ons right now, for 05 GTOs. soooo.. this is why i ask. Thanks!

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, bet the LS6 intake has a 3 bolt design where as the LS2 has a four bolt (I think). Also the LS6 does NOT have a 90mm opening for a 90mm TB, I think it's 75 or 78mm. I think you only option is the LSX intake.

Thats what I thought as well, the only option being the LSX. I know that there are maybe only 1 hp gain from switching out the throttle body with a nw or other 90mm. But I know that you can gain 15-20 with the 90mm LSX Man.

But I just wanted to ask about the Ls6. But im pretty sure it wont work with ls2.

You can buy an LS6 from TPIS with a 90mm opening grafted on the front. They then sell 90mm TBs that match.

Havent had a chance to test, but I took the bait. I'll get it all together and put up some results.

keep us posted chris... the Ls2 TB is already a 90mm, And the gains they got from switching to a NW 90mm over the Ls2 TB was only 1 hp. So no point in changing that out on a ls2.
