Me vs. 1993 TT Supra
Was on I-40 heading to my club's hangout spot when I spotted a nice 93 TT Supra. Had my cruise set at 74mph, went by him and threw up my hand. Dude got on it to get beside me. He smiled and said, "On 3." Now I'm not a street racer by any means, I get on my car from time-to-time but I don't race at all....but this was on the highway and it was clear for about 3/4 of a mile infront of us. Soooooo, what the hell...
He said 1, 2 and when he hit 2, I dropped it from 6th to 3rd and matted it so i'd be hitting the gas when he actually beeped the 3rd time. By 115 we were about even, I had a fender on him, maybe.
His car was slick as hell and the dude was cool as ****, he came up beside me and we exchanged "Sick car" remarks. So I move to get off the highway and an Explorer gets beside me and holds up a video camera and says, "I GOT THAT **** ON TAPE, MAN!" I yelled my AIM SN to him so hopefully he will come through with the vid and I can post it.
Needless to say, besides the little imports and local morons in Sebrings and Cavaliers, that was my first real race.

Yeah, I was scared as hell he was built and he was gonna waste me LOL. He did have a huge fart cannon on the left side but other than that, it looked stock. We never talked so I have no idea what he had, but it was a TT(had a badge right above the "Supra" on the right side of the trunk)

The MKIV's never came with single turbos. The guys in ya post are saying the supra's that have BIG power tend to have changed to a BIG single turbo. Nice kill man. It always feels good beating on them. Those guys still have to spend 25k to buy one of those cars. Its silly. GJ

Those close races are what make the fingers shake and reaffirm what it feels like in life to hang on to a small moment and make it last for what seems to be an hour. Those cars are so badass for their years. Until 1997, what other car was that fast for the price other than the LT1 Vette? Sounds like a really fun race!

Supras are crazy...ive seen 950 HP cars with stock internals...the 2JZ-GTE is one of the stongest motors of all time. By the way, just because an exhaust is big doesnt mean it's a "fart cannon." 3 grand HKS exhausts look like that...usually the sound tells the story lol.
