I actually have a comp XE-R 228/228 on a 112 lsa and it a pretty good cam. I'm actually going to go bigger pretty soon. It's got a nice lope to it, but nothing too crazy.

I got a 45 rwhp and 38 ft/lbs with it.
Really happy with it.
The only difference is the rougher idle from stock. Drives like stock until you mash it. No difference in mileage; I still get around 18 mgp driving to work.

ive got the f10 and it made pretty good power. I want to go bigger though. Its not a bad cam though. Im not sure if im pulling mine. Ive been thinking about putting the stock one back in so i can sell this one and get a bigger one.

They raised the idle to around 1k when they tuned it. (Eastside)
So it's louder than it was at idle.
Definately rougher idle than stock though.
Sounds GOOOD to me. Really deep sound now.
I compared the dyno before and after and I didn't lose a thing down low.
The h.p. curve is flat as a pancake right up to the 6500 shift point.
I'd buy it again.

then set the idle to 950 and you shouldnt have much lope. the exhaust has alot to do with it too my new setup consists of Pacesetters, tsp catted y and the stock muffler. Its so quiet. Great sleeper.

My old set exhuast was a SLP dual dual (which is one of the quietest systems) and you could still hear the cam lope. Is there much of a difference in sound between the 114s and 112s?

I'm in the process of putting that exact cam in with some S2 heads. It should be buttomed up by tomorrow and its going to the dyno on Saturday. I'm putting down 343/357 now so hope to put down 400 or better after the install.

What did you do to get to idle?
