Default running a comrpession test

alright, i just got my compression tester from matco, and i was wanting to run a test on my 98 T/A. but while reading how to perform one it says let the engine warm to operating temperature, then remove all the plugs. ok all of you ls1 owners should see a problem with that statement right there. it is a time consuming task and somewhat difficult to get ALL the plugs out,the front plugs arent bad, but the rear ones are a pain in the ***! Now what makes that worse is that the engine is suppose to be at operating temp, because you will get a lot of blowby if the engine is cold. so my ?? is how the hell do you perform one, you cannot get the plugs out with the engine hot without burning the crap out of your hands. So how do you guys do this??
