Default Need picture of center valve cover bolt and seal

Does anyone have a picture of the center valve cover bolt and seal? The bolts that I am using for my valve covers don't reach and I'd like to see what the grommet/seal looks like before ordering these up from the dealer. I was thinking of getting studs/threaded rods and nuts but I can't seem to find a part numnber for the seal only. Does the seal come with the bolt(s)?

Thanks,
David

No pics, but supposedly you can buy the bolt with the seal but not the seal by itself. The GM part # is 12559893, they come with grommets and are sold as 1 piece per p/n. GM list price -$4.01 each

Oh well, I was bored. Here's a few pics of the valve cover bolt. I have my heads off doing a head swap anyway. It's not just a bolt and a grommet. There is also a spacer fitted to the bolt and the grommet is attached to the spacer.

Hmm, not that bad. $2.28 each at GMPD and $7.95 shipping is the same for one or all 8, so the total comes out to $26.19 shipped for all eight.

NP, glad I could help. Yeah, they get you on the shipping over there but the prices are good. It says it's a special order part, no returns. Maybe have a local dealer look one up just to make sure it's complete with the spacer and grommet. The way it's made though, the spacer doesn't seem to want to come off, so it's got to be a complete unit.

Our dealers blow out here. I refuse to go to them unless there is no other choice. I've been ordering parts from several out of state dealers for over 10 years now. Its cheaper than going own the street and paying retail price and 8.75% tax on top of that.

They hardly ever have anything in stock either

I ended up ordering mine from SDPC ( a sponsor) http://www.sdpc2000.com/cart.asp?act...tart&catid=873
, the cost was only 80 cents more than GMPD but they had them in stock and I got them in a day or two!
