Easy Help! How To Remove A4 Center Consoel

ok im tring to access the cigrette lighter wires for a fan switch install but i cannot figure out how to remove the a4 shift ****... help asap

Can you get to it by removing the TCS panel/cubby hole thing?

probally but i need to drill the panel for the leds and switch so i want to completly remove it

There is a staple on the back side of the shifter (facing towards the radio) that you have to remove. Use a small flathead screwdrive or needle-nose piers. Then it should slip right off.
