Default stock cats on mac oryp

Could I weld the stock cats into the mac oryp and still have good flow.

I would open up the cats to 2.5" hole size so it would fit the oryp

I'm going to cut the collector out and go duals into sweet thunders and out the back.

Do you think it would sound good?

I wouldn't bother putting stock cats back on anything. Good high flow cats aren't that expensive. If you actually get a dual exhaust with crossover you won't need cats to get good sound.

Buy a good X-pipe from somebody (Dr. Gas is good) and make the duals around that, with no cats, and it will sound good. How good depends on muffler selection. If you search for that you can see the choices. Flo pro twisters, dynomax bullets, sweet thunder, magnapacks, borla XR1, etc.
