Default Installed the FTRA

I installed the FTRA on my car yesterday. It say you should block off the front of the lid with this rubber piece that's included with the FTRA....This is the air that comes from the hood scoop into the front of the lid. Have you guys done this or did you keep that stock rubber piece on there. It says its more iffective when you block it off, but I was wondering what you guys have done.

Block it off. It will work better. The IAT will be lower as you are not pulling air from under the hood.

I blocked it off yesterday when I installed it, but thanks for your reply.

I heard good and bad things about blocking it off. Right now I dont have mine blocked off, the more air the better I guess. But I might go ahead and block it off, either way you are not going to feel any type of difference blocked or not blocked.
